We believe floral design is more than just decoration—it’s an art form that connects people to nature and the present moment. We create one-of-a-kind, intentional arrangements using the fruits of the season, embracing the beauty of what’s naturally available to craft sculptural, artistic, and unexpected designs. Our goal is to bring happiness and seasonal consciousness to every client while making the planning process effortless and deeply personal. By blending creativity with a human-centered approach, we take the stress out of floral design, ensuring an experience that feels as natural and joyful as the flowers themselves.

Petal to the Metal was created by a biodynamically trained farmer and floral artist Leslie Bish to bring high design and Earth-friendly farming techniques together for a first of its kind floral studio, where people can enjoy the beauty and splendor of flowers without having to feel guilty about it.
Slow + sustainable.
Operating out of Catskill, New York, we are fully aligned with the "slow flower movement", or the shift in our collective floral focus to sourcing as local and sustainable as possible. Our gardens support the precious pollinator populations, reduce carbon emissions, and create the opportunity to steward our environment and return to the soil what we take from it.
Fully personalized.
We work with every client from the beginning to create a completely unique floral design that fits the moment and the event. On the day of, we handle everything from setup to breakdown, and ensure that every flower is farm-fresh and perfectly displayed. Afterwards, we even handle breakdown and removal of your flowers.
Designed to decompose.
Our floral designs are created using fully recyclable and biodegradable materials, rather than things like floral foam and plastic that don’t break down. After your event, your flowers will be returned to our farm where they’ll be harvested for seeds and then turned into compost, to help create the next generation of flowers - naturally.
